LUCKY BRENT BAND

       Moving to San Diego, Brent Asten teamed up with Lead Guitar player Justin Binns. Sitting on the beach one day in sunny San Diego playing acoustic guitar, Justin Binns came up and invited me to play guitar at his beach apartment, just 1 block from the water. Our guitar styles instantly clicked.

Pacific Beach, CA

    Together we ran an Open Mic gig every Thursday night at the Aussie Pub and Grill on Grand Avenue in Pacific Beach, for the 2012 season.Their combo guitar of relaxed acoustic beach rock-n-roll with lead guitar shredding made for a great vibed guitar duo and a great musicians night; just 2 blocks from the Pacific Ocean. Musicians night was a great time to meet many new aspiring musicians and singers. This was the year that I had my first music promoter, who got us the gig, as well as coined my stage name "Lucky Brent."
